We are back to our normal business hours Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00 except Wednesdays 8:30-5:00.

We hope you and your family are safe and in good health. We are going above and beyond to make sure our infection control keeps everyone safe by:

1.  Having patients practice social distancing in our reception area
2.  No magazines or refreshments offered in the reception area
3.  If you prefer to be escorted from your car to the chair we are more than happy to provide you with that service
4.  Hand sanitizer is abundant and placed throughout the office. As well as multiple handwashing stations
5.  Upon entry we are taking all patients temperatures and having them fill out our screening form
6.  All staff are equipped with the proper personal equipment

What “SuperFoods” Can Boost Your Oral Health?There are a number of superfoods good for oral health. Some of them are whole foods or drinks, such as cranberries, green tea, and cheese. Others are food that one makes at home, such as smoothies. Foods made at home such as smoothies can contain multiple superfoods and can be especially good for oral health as one gets multiple superfoods in one meal. A particularly good smoothie contains yogurt, bananas, blueberries, and peanut butter. Come see us for additional suggestions on superfoods.

Whole Superfoods Good for Oral Health


Cheese is an excellent superfood for oral health. It´s high in calcium, magnesium, and phosphates. It helps remineralize and maintain tooth enamel. Cheese is alkaline, and so it raises the pH in one´s mouth. That reduces the probability of tooth decay. Cheese also promotes saliva production, and saliva itself reduces tooth decay. Cranberries have compounds that reduce tooth decay-causing bacteria in one's mouth. Green tea has a lot of antioxidants, and it also has compounds that reduce not only tooth decay-causing bacteria, but the bacteria causing bad breath.

Smoothie, a Combination Superfood Good for Oral Health


A full smoothie is an excellent superfood because of multiple components. Yogurt provides calcium, phosphates, and magnesium and remineralizes teeth. It also promotes saliva production, which reduces tooth decay. Bananas are a good source of calcium and magnesium. They also contain a number of vitamins. The vitamin D in bananas is good for teeth. Bananas have low acidity, which is important as acid destroys teeth. Blueberries are high in antioxidants which help promote oral health. They lower the number of bacteria in one´s mouth, thus reducing tooth decay. Blueberries are also low in acid. The fats in peanut butter lower the risk of gum disease.
